Some time ago, someone dared to do the impossible: to create a luxury train that makes the journey itself an experience. The ‘Luxon’ (LUXuswaggON) is the result of this bold vision, a uniquely renovated observation car of the legendary Rheingold train.
Alex Dworaczek, managing director of the company RailAdventure, had the idea of turning one of the three remaining Rheingold observation cars into a luxury car of superlatives. A jewel on rails awaits you, because the Luxon is fully glazed on the upper side, so that you can enjoy the passing landscape to the full, while culinary masterpieces are being created in the on-board kitchen below.
In 8 years of construction, almost everything on the carriage was newly created and produced. The carriage shell remained, but the entire interior was renewed. Normally, RailAdventure does something different. RailAdventure is ‘a service provider for the railway industry. The Luxon is a luxury train for those who enjoy travelling in comfort. It doesn't rattle, the temperature is pleasant, the carriage moves quietly and the seats are comfortable. The carriage can carry up to 20 people on the standard gauge network throughout Europe.
